Condo Maintenance

Lawn Care

  • Lawns must be mowed regularly(4” maximum height)
  • Lawns must be properly cared for and neatly trimmed
  • Fertilized, weed control and insect control
  • Plantings & shrubbery along front of  homes must be properly maintained
  • Planted “islands” are cleaned, trimmed, and mulched by the association each spring. Unit owners should help maintain them during the year. Cleaning, minor trimming, watering, etc.

Snow Removal

  • Stonegate contracts with a plowing company to clear and sand our street
  • We hold the contractor responsible for damaged berms/curbs
  • Unit owners are responsible for clearing their driveway and walkways
  • Do not shovel snow out into the street
  • The unit owner is responsible for repairing any damage to lawns or berms/curbs by a private snow removal contractor hired by the unit owner
  • Do not block or bury hydrants

Trash

  • Thursday is pick up day (Friday if a Monday holiday)
  • All trash containers should have covers ESPECIALLY IF PUT OUT THE NIGHT BEFORE Otherwise ‘critters’ may spread the trash all over
  • The homeowner is responsible for cleaning up any spilled trash
  • Trash receptacles cannot be stored on the outside of home not even under decks
  • Keep trash receptacles in garage

Children’s Playhouse

  • Children’s playhouses are allowed
  • MUST be portable and moveable (no pad or foundation)
  • CANNOT have a locking door
  • CANNOT have electricity
  • CANNOT be used to store gardening implements & tools
  • CANNOT be taller than 60”

Unit Appearance

  • Exterior painting is the responsibility of the unit owner
  • Must be kept up; not to faded or chipping
  • Must comply with approved color schemes and combinations for
  • body, trim, shutters, and doors.
  • All units must have three colors
  • Window grates must be kept in windows
  • Missing or broken window grates must be repaired/replaced
  • Storm doors wooden of a style to match original wooden storm doors
  • Painted to match trim color
  • Aluminum  – EMCO Forever Door in the color that best matches house trim color  available Home Depot; Lowe’s
  • Brass trim (no black)
  • Exterior unit lighting
    • must match the original fixture​
    • these are standard fixtures and are easily obtainable
